Occassional diving: Grand Odyssey offers an opportunity for certified scuba divers to dive on Wednesday and Saturday during the cruise (minimum 4 divers). The dives will be offered instead of the normal land visit. As per the new Galapagos Park regulations, cruises would have to outsource diving from a local land-based dive operator and guests would dive with their staff. But reservations must be done at time of booking the cruise. It is suggested that all divers have advanced dive certification due to strong currents, cold water, thermo-clines and large marine life. The Galapagos National Park regulations require that all guests bring the dive certification card for verification of your dive training and experience.
