Peru trip, Gayle Frewer (from USA) - November 7, 2008

We are just back from South America a few days ago.  After Peru we went on to Trinidad, Suriname and Guyana.

We enjoyed our Cusco Machu Picchu trip, and were well taken cared every step of the way. We will certainly contact you for arrangements the next time we plan on travelling in South America.
Thanks for all your help.

Ecuador trip, Janine Kuriger (from Switzerland) - September 26, 2008

Dear Laura, thanks for your message and I was planning to tell you that the trip was excellent! Everything worked very well: reception at Quito airport, very competent guide, excellent service in the (Galapagos) boat and very good food.

I want to thank you for your very professional and personal help. We congratulate you for a very modern and useful reservation process. We are going to recommend Latin Discover! best wishes, Janine

Mexico trip, Piotr Stopa (from Poland) - September 22, 2008

Hi Sandra, thank you, everything was fine and I was really happy with the trip. Nice guide, great sights, thanks. Piotr

South America trip, Gloria R (from USA) - September 22, 2008

Thanks Laura, we've just arrived tonight from an unforgettable trip. Both in Ecuador and Peru the tour operators were excellent...the Cuzco hotel, Jose Antonio, was very good. The Salkantay Trail part was an experience out of this world....then we arrived at Aguas Calientes and Hotel Sumaq was the best hotel of the trip, really excellent. We recovered that night and woke up in Machu Picchu the next day. Precious and impressive...and I forgot to tell you that the Galapagos cruise was good, the service excellent, food very good. You can recommend it with eyes closed. Thanks again for all your help. Gloria.

Mexico trip, Imma Torras (from Spain) - September 16, 2008

Sandra, we wanted to tell you that all went brilliantly. We were very pleased by the well-organized trip: guides, food, hotels ( almost all very good but there were differences in service between them for example lunches, room standard, service approach...) But in general really great, we were enchanted by the country, and why not, we will do another trip with you in Latin America (just give us time to save again!). If you give us an email for posting notes for future travelers, we will give a great positive vision (of the country). bye and thanks for everything! Ruben & Imma

Mexico trip, John Cauchi Gera (from Malta) - September 11, 2008

Sandra, I spoke to my clients and there overall comment was “Perfect“. Everything worked out like clockwork. They enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you! Hope to be in contact with you in the near future. Brgds, Alphonse

Peru trip, Bob M (from USA) - September 3, 2008

Mauricio, the trip was outstanding. The sequence of locations worked very well with the trip building all the time to the wonderful Machu Picchu. All of your arrangements and hotels were very good and the pace of the trip was perfect. All of our guides were very enthusiastic and provided us with lots of local color and opinion which helped us understand the area better.

The only suggestions I would have is on the choice of boat transportation at Lake Titicaca and the flight to Lima on the last day. It would be worth the upgrade to a faster boat if that was not an unreasonable charge. The trip out to, and back from, the island of Taquille was quite long. The faster boat would have cut the time by a significant amount. On the last day the transfer flight to Lima from Cuzco could have been closer to our departure time of midnight. That would have given more time in Cuzco which would have been more comfortable than the airport in Lima. Both of these suggestions are small refinements on a very well planned trip.

Thank you for your very professional handling of all the many details and your excellent communications during the process. I will recommend your services to anyone who is travelling to South America. Robert

Peru trip, Judy D (from USA) - September 3, 2008

Mauricio, we had a very memorable trip. We feel Latin Discover did an excellent job.We liked the pace of the trip and the guides were excellent.  Loved all the hotels. Really loved Sol y Luna. The absolute best!!!! And the best dinner also. What a lovely setting.

Our favorite guides were Freddie and Richard (Lake Titicaca). We would not hesitate to recommend Latin Discover to anyone traveling to South America. If, at a future date, we have plans to travel to the areas you cover for tours, we would sign up with you!

Thank you again for your help in getting my camera battery and charger to me. I would not have been able to take photos of Michu Picchu!!! Judy

Ecuador trip, Alan M (from Ireland) - August 26, 2008

Laura, I just arrived back in Ireland today.  We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Galapagos, it surpassed all our expectations.  The boat was great, we really loved our accomodation.  Also, the meals were great.  Most imporatantly, I was so happy with the itinerary (the sole reason I chose the Eric).  All the staff and crew on board couldn't have been better and they made our stay very special.

The guides, Ivan and Adrian, were excellent - very knowledgable and entertaining and they contributed hugely to the fun element. So, thanks to you and your company for all your help. Alan

Costa Rica trip, Nicholas B (from UK) - August 21, 2008

Mauricio We had a wonderful time and would definitely like to visit Costa Rica again. We mainly followed your suggested route with some variations. The car was very good, the GPS was essential as was the cellphone.

The hotels we enjoyed were: Gran Hotel San Jose, The Sapo Dorado in Monteverde - probably our favourite The Samara Pacific Lodge - run by a very nice French couple Rancho Casa Grande in Quepos The Quality Inn in San Jose Thank you Mauricio for all your help it was a wonderful holiday for all of us. best Nicholas

Peru trip, Malini Vira (from USA) - August 20, 2008

Mauricio, We reached home yesterday. After the last email we had sent you from Sol Y Luna everything went off very smoothly. There were no glitches small or otherwise after that.

Your gesture for Varun's birthday was really much appreciated by all of us. The dinner in Cusco was lovely too. Thank you. The Delfin cruise was memorable too. We had full and exciting days there. The food turned out by the cook on the boat was exceptional. All in all it was an unforgettable holiday. Thank you for all your help and planning. Regards, Prabhat, Malini, Varun and Aditi

Chile trip, Jessica W (from USA) - August 13, 2008

We are still in Chile but taking the last few days on our own in the Central Valley.  Your arrangements were wonderful.  Paulo in Santiago was terrific -- very helpful to have someone carting us to and from the airport and the orientation to Santiago was very informative and fun.  Both the Atacama and Easter Island were wonderful -- even better than we expected and our expectations were high.
For us the Kimal (in Atacama) was the perfect spot -- the staff were very pleasant and accomodating and the location what we wanted.  Salvador was a good guide and the tours were all great.
Easter Island was the highlight among many great items on the trip.  Sabrina, our guide there, could not have been better.  Wonderful company, very informative and efficient.  The hotel there was fine -- I doubt there was anything we would have preferred... The views were so good that the somewhat less than ideal location is outweighed by the ability to be right on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific.
Thanks for everything.  We will definitely use your services again if we are planning something in South America.

Costa Rica trip, Janine M (from USA) - August 13, 2008

Mauricio, We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica. The transfers were great: we loved Eli (not sure if that is his name but the first driver) we also liked the second driver but we spent more time with Eli. They were both very cautious and friendly. The Arenal Springs is a very nice place to stay and to start the trip. I loved sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds. The concierge was very helpful and the b'fast was good.

We went to do the zip line and for the people who did not zip we just hung out at the pool and had some cocktails. We all enjoyed it. The Buena Vista is something else, beautiful and fun. The Villas had everything u could want and a beautiful view. The concierge was a great help you just call for service and he sends the bus to take u where u need to go.

We went to Manuel Antonio Park and we went out on a boat, we had massages in the villas and just hung out at the beach watching the monkeys. The breakfast was really good at the Tulamar.

Thanks for all you help. We all loved it an everyone wants to go back someday. I am hoping u can give me some ideas for next years trip, i here Belize is beautiful. Where in Central and South America can u recommend for Americans to travel? It is going to be my other sisters birthday, she will be 60. Janine.

Costa Rica trip, Kathy C (from USA) - August 7, 2008

Mauricio Tuvimos una vacacion fantistico!!! Tortuguero was the best! The people at Pachira lodge were wonderful, especially Manfred. They were knowledgeable, showed us so many beautiful plants, insects and animals. Manfred was especially good with my youngest, Jessica. The tours all went smoothly and we loved it.

The canopy tour was so much fun. The trip along the canal was awesome and we were treated to the spider monkey show, jumping from tree to tree. Mornings began very early with the howler monkeys greeting at 4 am! The black sand beach in the village was beautiful. The turtle tour was exciting for Stefani and we saw a green sea turtle laying many eggs and then bury them. The walk there was a little difficult as the landscape was uneven and it was extremely dark but I think it was worth it. Stefani was thrilled. Jay loved the rhinoceros beatle he found and held it for all to see. He even put it on me for a picture.

He and Jessica also found some really big blue crabs and yellow crabs at Pachira Lodge. Jess made a friend from Spain and neither spoke each others language but children always find a way to communicate and they had a great time swimming and playing together. The spiders everywhere we so colorful and big!

Volcano Lodge was beautiful. We loved the landscape and the rooms were also roomy and had a fabulous shower area. The pool was also very nice. My children loved the swim up bar area. (Jess thought it was "cool" to order her lunch and eat it in the pool.) The trip to the volcano was awesome. The tour guide, Roy, was also really great with Jessica and made her a grasshopper he made from leaves! We saw hot lava rocks coming out of the volcano and lots of gasses. It was amazing. The climb was a little difficult but lots of fun.

Tabacon Springs was also a lot of fun and the food there was the best of the vacation. Roy showed us how to take pictures through the binoculars. Tulemar was also very nice. I had thought that we had a 2 bedroom bungalow but we managed with the day bed in the living room. The views from our bungalow were breath taking and we even found a small anole (lizard) in our room that hopped from my hand to my face to Jessica's shoulder. That certainly made everyone laugh.

We had fun in the (Manuel Antonio) national park as well, seeing the white faced monkeys, raccoons, lizards, birds, and crabs. The beach at Tulemar was a little rough so we had Jessica wear her life vest but she and Scott really enjoyed riding the waves. We used the free kayak also. Stefani and I explored among the many rocks and found lots of beautiful shells and coral. The transfers all went smoothly and everyone was on time. Only one driver did not speak any English but we managed with our limited Spanish.

All in all, it was a wonderful vacation. The weather even behaved for us. Not too much rain. We will have many memories and hundreds of amazing pictures. Thank you so much for all of your help in planning this vacation. Sincerely, Kathy

Ecuador trip, Jos v (from Netherlands) - August 5, 2008

Laura, We can look back on a fantastic holiday. Of course it was an adventure from our side to just book a not too cheap holiday via internet. However, from the first contact on I felt comfortable with your approach and the way you treated me as a valuable customer. Especially during the trip where you took the initiative to take care that no mistakes were made on arrival of Michel and his girlfriend has been appreciated by me very much. Would be very happy to book another holiday with you but only when you are our contact again. Best regards, Jos
